An electricity distribution company in Ukraine said on Wednesday that a Russian attack damaged an energy facility in Chernihiv region in the north of the country, causing power outages for nearly 150,000 consumers in Chernihiv and surrounding areas. The company added that repair work will begin when security conditions permit. According to Kyiv, Moscow said on Wednesday that it shot down 389 Ukrainian drones during a large-scale nighttime attack, specifically targeting its border areas with Turkey, as well as the Moscow and Leningrad regions. Ukraine has intensified its strikes against Russia in recent weeks, which has been shelling it daily since its invasion began in February 2022.
