As a result of the intensification of hostilities in the Ukrainian east, the Russian army announced the capture of the village of Toretsk in the northeastern outskirts of the Toretsk region.
This village, located not far from Toretsk, has become a key target for Russian forces during the armed conflict in the Donbas region. According to information from the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, fighting in this area continues, despite attempts at a truce.
"We see fierce battles in the area of Krymske and other populated points around Toretsk," stated a representative of the press service of the General Staff.
