The organization "Red Cross" announced on Thursday that it is conducting a search for more than 50 thousand people, primarily soldiers, who went missing during the Russian-Ukrainian war, which began about three years ago.
According to the representatives of the "Red Cross", they are working closely with local authorities and other international organizations to solve this humanitarian problem. Their aim is to provide support to families and search for missing persons.
"We call on all parties to the conflict to respect international humanitarian law and assist in establishing the whereabouts of individuals whose fates remain unknown," the organization noted.
They pointed out that for many families this remains a serious issue, and they will continue their efforts to search and establish the fates of their loved ones.
