NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg called on Thursday for the United States to continue providing military supplies to Ukraine and stated that Europe is paying the bill.
At the NATO summit in Brussels, Stoltenberg expressed hope that Washington will maintain its support for Kyiv. He also emphasized that the United States plays a key role in ensuring the security of Europe.
"It is very important to continue supporting Ukraine in its efforts to defend its country and its citizens. The U.S. does this, and I hope they will continue to do it," Stoltenberg said at a press conference after the summit.
He also added that NATO member countries must be obligated to support Ukraine's efforts.
