
The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, stated today, on Saturday, that a meeting with the President of Russia, Vladimir Putin, will be a serious step. "The meeting with Putin will be a serious step. What can I say, this is the first time, this is the second time, and this will be a step forward," Zelensky said in an interview with the television channel.
According to him, such a meeting will be productive for Ukraine. "If I am offered a meeting that will be productive for our country, then, of course, I will not refuse such a step," added the head of the Ukrainian state.
Zelensky also emphasized that such an event needs to be carefully discussed with the allies and partners of Ukraine.
