Zelensky Refuses US Agreement on Ukrainian Minerals

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky announced on Saturday that he has rejected an agreement with the United States regarding Ukrainian minerals, highlighting geopolitical tensions.

The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, stated on Saturday that he refuses to sign an agreement with the United States regarding Ukrainian mineral resources.

During his speech at one of the teleconferences, Zelensky rejected the idea of participating in discussions on this issue and suggested to local deputies to create a legislative act that would prohibit the sale or transfer of mineral resources abroad.

"We must protect our interests. This is our country, our homeland. We must preserve them for our children and grandchildren," Zelensky emphasized.

He also added that the decision on this issue will be made exclusively at the level of Ukraine and no external forces should interfere in this process.

"We will not sign any documents that may violate our interests in the field of mineral resources," the president emphasized.
