On Monday, the European Union introduced a sixteenth package of sanctions against Russia on the third anniversary of the Russian war against Ukraine.
The new sanctions include a ban on the issuance of loans and the management of assets of a number of Russian organizations, as well as a ban on the export of certain goods and technologies to Russia.
These measures were adopted in response to recent incidents in the Black Sea and the introduction of the Russian passport to residents of the occupied territories of Ukraine.
"We cannot remain indifferent to violations of international law," emphasized the EU representative after the introduction of the new sanctions.
