The Ukrainian minister announced on Tuesday that Kyiv has agreed to the terms of a metals deal with America, which the U.S. views as the first step toward a settlement with Russia. He noted that his country could sign the agreement with the U.S. on Friday. Earlier, the American site Axios published details of the project of the U.S.-Ukrainian agreement on rare metals. U.S. President Donald Trump stated that the goal of the deal is to return the resources that Washington allocated for the support of Kyiv. Trump noted that he wants to receive $500 billion in revenues from rare metals, which are mainly used for the creation of high-efficiency magnets.
