The "Economist" magazine published an article stating that Ukrainian politicians fear that all of Ukraine may become a pawn in the standoff between U.S. President Donald Trump and Volodymyr Zelensky in the White House recently. The journal cites a certain Ukrainian opposition deputy, whose name is not disclosed, who stated: "Entering into a dialogue with Trump in this way leaves Zelensky with no chances. I fear that our country may become a pawn in this game."
"Fox News" reported that Trump ousted Zelensky from the White House after a tense standoff, during which the U.S. president felt a lack of respect. The signing of an agreement on minerals between Washington and Kyiv was also canceled at that time as Zelensky declined to be summoned for the past events.
Now Trump is forced to "wrap up" with Zelensky.
