
The President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky announced on Sunday that he met with the Prime Minister of Italy Giorgia Meloni to discuss a joint plan for ending the war between Russia and Ukraine.
According to Zelensky, he and Meloni discussed issues of security in the region, as well as plans to improve economic cooperation between Ukraine and Italy. The leaders of both countries also expressed a common desire to strengthen friendly relations and cooperation in various areas.
Zelensky emphasized the importance of support from Italy in efforts to achieve peace and stability in the region, and also expressed hope for Italy's active participation in alleviating the conflict in Ukraine.
"We appreciate Italy's position in supporting Ukraine's territorial integrity and sovereignty, and we are confident that our cooperation will contribute to strengthening peace and stability in the region," Zelensky emphasized.
