The President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky stated on Tuesday that he aims to 'fix things' with Donald Trump and work under the 'strong leadership' of the President of the USA to ensure lasting peace in Ukraine.
'We, of course, want to change some things and fix them. We are striving for the strong leadership of Donald Trump to ensure peace in Ukraine. Everything we can say and do, we do for the Ukrainian people,' Zelensky stated.
This statement came during his appearance at an event in the capital Kyiv, where he discussed perspectives for peace in the region and partnerships with other countries.
