Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky stated on Monday that Kyiv strives for peace with Russia, blaming the inability to achieve this goal on Moscow.
Zelensky noted: "Although there are moments when Ukraine is ready to move forward, to support dialogue, it is not ready to make concessions on fundamental issues."
According to him, Ukraine expects that Russia will also be ready to go for certain compromises to achieve long-lasting peace in the region.
"We want peace. We want it stronger than other countries," the president of Ukraine emphasized.
