The leaders of the European Commission and the Council, Ursula von der Leyen and Antonio Costa, welcomed the secondary agreement between the USA and Ukraine.
"This is an important step towards ensuring security and stability in the region," stated Ursula von der Leyen.
Antonio Costa emphasized that support from the United States is a key element for security in Europe.
"We fully support our American partners in their efforts to keep peace and stability on the continent," he noted.
