Between Ukraine and Russia, there is no less intense diplomatic struggle than on the battlefield. After a tense meeting at the highest level, Russia and Ukraine failed to reach a common consensus on the most pressing issue. In this regard, the Russian side expressed a willingness to engage in constructive dialogue, but on the condition that Russia's interests and those of its partners would be taken into account. The Ukrainian side, in turn, stressed that it would defend its territorial integrity and sovereignty by any means necessary. Thus, the negotiations turned out to be stagnant.
"We are ready for dialogue and constructive cooperation, but we will be uncompromising in protecting our interests and the interests of our partners," said a representative of Russia.
In turn, the representative of Ukraine pointed out that the country does not allow anyone to violate its territorial integrity and is prepared for the most difficult actions to ensure peace on its land.
The situation at the moment remains tense, and the positions of the sides seem to remain unchanged.
