On Friday, the Ukrainian army confirmed the statement of U.S. President Donald Trump that their troops are surrounded due to the blockade by Russian military forces.
"We can confidently state that our military has not been surrounded and has not faced a blockade from the side of Russian armed forces," said a representative of the Ukrainian army.
According to the army representative, Ukrainian troops are acting in accordance with international law and are defending the country's sovereignty.
