The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, stated on Tuesday about his support for the truce with Russia for thirty days. This truce includes a ban on attacks on energy infrastructure.
"This remains a key idea and practical task for us," noted Zelensky.
He also added that despite some violations of the truce, both sides continue to comply with it, which may witness the possibility of further reductions in hostilities. "After the introduction of the truce, the number of attacks has significantly decreased," the president emphasized.
Zelensky also noted that Ukraine is ready to hold a summit in the format of the "Normandy Four" (Ukraine, Russia, France, Germany) for resolving the conflict in Donbass. The meeting at the highest level in such a format could take place in Paris.
