The Kremlin Demands a Decisive Response from Ukraine

The Kremlin announced on Saturday that it is waiting for a "decisive" response from Ukraine to the proposal of Russian President Vladimir Putin to halt fire for three days.

Putin made this proposal during a video conference with the leaders of France and Germany. During the negotiations, the topic of the conflict in eastern Ukraine, which has already lasted more than seven years, was raised.

The proposal to cease fire was made as a gesture of goodwill and in the hope of achieving progress in de-escalating the conflict.

The press secretary of the Russian president stated that the Russian side is expecting a "constructive relationship" to the proposal and hopes for improved conditions in the area of conflict.
