France and Germany agreed to apply pressure to achieve a ceasefire lasting 30 days in Ukraine. This decision was made following a phone conversation between the President of France and the Chancellor of Germany.

Additionally, they noted the necessity of conducting bilateral consultations with Moscow to achieve a comprehensive ceasefire in the region. European leaders also discussed the situation in Donbas and called for adherence to the Minsk agreements.

"We believe it is essential to refrain from actions that could lead to an escalation of tensions. We are ready to continue our efforts to achieve a sustainable ceasefire and full cessation of hostilities in the region," stated the leaders of France and Germany.
