KIEV, (AFP) — Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky affirmed on Monday that Kyiv has no legal or moral right to cede Ukrainian lands to Moscow in any agreement aimed at ending the Russian invasion that began nearly four years ago. "Russia insists on the necessity of giving up land, but we do not want to give up anything," he explained. "The United States is trying to reach a settlement on this issue. We also have no moral right," he added. "We are fighting for it, as you well know," Zelensky said during an online press conference. "Are we thinking of ceding land? We have no legal right to do so, neither under Ukrainian law nor our constitution nor international law."
