President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky reported that he held a “productive discussion” with representatives of the United States regarding the country's reconstruction and economic recovery plans, during a videoconference held this Wednesday. According to the head of state on social network X, the meeting was attended by U.S. Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent, advisor and businessman Jared Kushner, and BlackRock CEO Larry Fink, along with high-ranking Ukrainian officials. This was the first meeting of the group that will work on a strategic document to guide the country's economic recovery, as learned by the Argentine News Agency. Zelensky detailed that during the meeting, the central elements for recovery efforts were addressed, as well as different mechanisms and approaches for reconstruction after the damage caused by the war. In his evening message, the Ukrainian president emphasized that “to ensure high-quality reconstruction and tangible economic growth after this war, real security must be the foundation”.
