On Sunday, the Ukrainian Armed Forces General Staff confirmed that Ukraine launched a strike on an ammunition factory located on Russian territory last night.
According to representatives of the Ukrainian army, the target was a factory located beyond the national border where ammunition is produced. The press service of the Ukrainian Armed Forces noted that the strike was carried out in conjunction with the operation plan.
For its part, the Ministry of Defense of Russia has not yet commented on the incident. Earlier, Russian authorities claimed to have presented evidence of the illegal presence of Ukrainian refugees on their territory.
"We continue to monitor the development of the situation and are ready to take all necessary measures to protect our country," the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine emphasized.
