Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky called on his ministers on Sunday to develop a bill to legalize gambling in the country. Zelensky emphasized that he wants this project to be ready by December 1.
According to him, this law should be aimed at fighting illegal gambling establishments, developing tourism, and ensuring additional revenues in the budget.
"I need to call on leading global gambling companies to come to us," Zelensky noted.
The president also added that thematic parks and gambling complexes could become an important incentive for tourists to visit Ukraine.
