The President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky stated on Friday that consultations on Donbas will begin with Moscow on Sunday. The negotiations should determine the date of the summit in the format of the Normandy Four, including Russia, Ukraine, France, and Germany.
Zelensky also noted that Ukraine advocates for the restoration of its control over the Donbas border as one of the points of the peace plan. He added that this should take place before elections are held in the occupied territories. According to him, this is an important step towards peace in the region.
"I am confident that this path is the right one, and I will fight for it at all levels," Zelensky emphasized.
