The U.S. Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin stated on Thursday that Washington would soon announce new military aid for Kyiv. "Our relations with Ukraine are strategic, and we value our partnership," Austin said at a press conference. He did not specify what kind of aid was being discussed, but noted that the U.S. stands on the side of Ukraine in its efforts to enhance security and sovereignty. "We are committed to our obligation to provide assistance to the Ukrainian army so that it can better defend its borders," the minister emphasized.
