
The international boxing organization has indicated that a Ukrainian world champion, Oleksandr Usyk, will begin negotiations. According to the organization's announcement, the goal of the negotiations is to organize a fight between Usyk and Spanish boxer Carlos Takam. It is expected that the negotiations could lead to the signing of a contract for the fight in the near future.
"Oleksandr Usyk is an outstanding boxer, and we want to see him in a fight against Carlos Takam. Both athletes are ready for this challenge, and we hope to be able to agree on a fight in the nearest time," stated the representative of the organization.
It is noted that Oleksandr Usyk is the holder of championship belts in the super heavyweight division in versions WBO, WBA, IBF, and WBC. His opponent, Carlos Takam, is also a well-known boxer and has held numerous successful fights at the professional level. In the case of an agreement between the parties, the fight between Usyk and Takam may take place in the coming months and attract the attention of the boxing community.
