Ukrainian two-time heavyweight world champion Alexander Usyk (36) is a football enthusiast. In his free time, he plays for the Police team, with whom he even signed a contract in 2023. Therefore, Usyk did not mind playing a friendly match against the American Vancouver Whitecaps club, which features world champion and Bayern Munich legend Thomas Müller. Usik had not been in the ring since his victory over Daniel Dubois in the fifth round of their rematch last March. In the football match, Usik came off the bench in the 20th minute and helped his team, which is third in the Ukrainian Premier League, to win 2-0. After the game, he celebrated with his teammates and took a photo with Müller, the 2014 world champion.
