Zelensky Calls for 200,000 European Troops in Kyiv

The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, called for the deployment of at least 200,000 military personnel from European countries to ensure the security of Ukraine and to prevent a possible new invasion in the event of a ceasefire agreement with Russia.

According to him, this is the minimum number, otherwise it has no meaning. The statement was made in a video, published in Kyiv in the media. This is the first time a senior Ukrainian official has officially stated the need for such a deployment, although the idea has been discussed with Western partners in secret for several months.

Recently, Zelenskyy participated in the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, and in an interview said: "200,000 is the minimum, that is the minimum, otherwise it has no meaning."
