Rafael Grossi, the Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency, observed the power plant concerning the electricity supply in Kyiv. The head of the agency visited the capital of Ukraine to familiarize himself with the country’s energy infrastructure and discuss cooperation issues.
He examined the installations and equipment, discussed technical aspects with local authorities and engineers. Rafael Grossi expressed confidence that cooperation would develop in a constructive manner.
"The visit to Kyiv gave me the opportunity to personally ensure the importance of infrastructure for energy supply for the country’s development. We are ready to support Ukraine in its efforts to ensure stability and safety in the energy sector," emphasized Rafael Grossi.
