The International Atomic Energy Agency expressed serious concerns about the current threats of a nuclear accident in Ukraine. Director General Rafael Grossi visited the electricity sector in Kyiv and presented the consequences of the recent attack on the energy infrastructure.

A Russian missile strike on the Izium gas production center resulted in casualties and injuries. At the same time, U.S. President Donald Trump is trying to obtain rare minerals from Ukraine in exchange for support that his country provides to this state.
In response to Trump’s requests, voiced to him in Kyiv regarding the possibility of American investments, Grossi emphasized the need to focus on protecting energy facilities during armed conflicts.
