Kyiv intends to propose a ceasefire regime with Russia in the air and maritime space during the negotiations with the American delegation in Saudi Arabia.
It is suggested that such a proposal will become part of the discussed issues between the parties. Ukrainian representatives expressed hope that these steps could ease tensions in the region and facilitate the search for a peaceful resolution of the conflict.
"We believe that the main task is to achieve a cessation of hostilities and to avoid any armed actions that could lead to civilian casualties among the peaceful population," noted the Ukrainian representative.
According to information from diplomatic sources, the Ukrainian government proposes to introduce additional measures to control the observance of the ceasefire to ensure the safety of civilians in the conflict zone.
