Zelenski Calls Kremlin's Ceasefire Request Cynical

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky denounced that last week Russia launched a large number of attacks against Ukraine, including 1,180 drones, 1,360 guided bombs, and ten missiles. Despite these attacks, the Kremlin called for a three-day ceasefire around the holidays, which Zelensky described as 'cynicism.'

Zelensky highlighted the irony of this call from Russia, given the intensity of the attacks received by Ukraine. The situation in the region remains tense, with ongoing clashes and provocations from Russia.

The Ukrainian president has expressed his determination to defend his country's territorial integrity and to resist Russian aggression. Despite the difficult situation, Zelensky remained firm in his stance and his commitment to defending Ukraine.

'Russia's constant attacks will not diminish our determination. We are prepared to resist and defend our country at all costs,' declared Zelensky in a public speech.
