Ukrainian Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko said on Friday that work is underway to restore electricity to more than 500,000 consumers in Kyiv after Russian drone and missile attacks damaged the electricity sector's infrastructure. Svyrydenko said via Telegram that Russian forces deliberately targeted electricity facilities essential for heating, describing it as "terrorism in the energy sector and an attempt to use winter as a weapon." Temperatures in the capital, Kyiv, fell to around ten degrees below zero on Friday.
