In the midst of witnesses, sounds of explosions were heard in the capital of Ukraine, Kyiv, following the deployment of combat-ready troops across the country in anticipation of airborne attacks, subsequent to rocket attacks from Russia. This caused panic among the local population, which found itself on the brink of war.
Flying at night and the launched rockets have led to a new wave of fear among Ukrainians, already suffering from military actions and tense relations with Russia. According to reports, sounds of explosions were heard from various districts of Kyiv, while the Ukrainian armed forces were put on full combat readiness.
"We live in constant fear, trying to understand what is happening around," said one of the local residents. "We hope for peace and security, but with each passing day, it becomes more uncertain."
