The head of the Ukrainian government Denys Shmyhal stated on Sunday that a Russian drone attack caused significant damage to the electricity infrastructure in southern Ukraine. The attack occurred overnight in Mykolaiv when the drone targeted a thermal energy station, resulting in substantial damage. "This was a terrorist act aimed at civilian life and the livelihood of people," Shmyhal said. He also emphasized that the attack on the electricity infrastructure represents a new form of war that Russia is waging against Ukraine. Shmyhal expressed confidence that the country will continue to defend itself and its citizens. "We know that our enemy will not stop. And we will not stop protecting our people and territorial integrity," added the prime minister.
