The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, Dmytro Kuleba, confirmed the information about the death of four civilians as a result of a rocket strike carried out by Russian forces in Odessa on Tuesday evening.

According to the minister, the attack occurred as a result of bombing by the Russian army near Odessa. "We mourn the losses among the civilian population," Kuleba noted. He also added that Ukraine will continue to defend its territory against aggression.

Four civilian individuals were killed, while several people sustained injuries as a result of the rocket attack in Odessa. Among the deceased were a woman and a child. "This is a horrific crime, for which those who committed it must answer," Kuleba stated.

It is noteworthy that Odessa is located in the southern part of the country and has not previously been subjected to attacks by Russian forces. Ukrainian authorities have turned to the international community, urging them to condemn the actions of the Russian military and support Ukraine in this unequal struggle.
