Russian soldiers captured a new community in Ukraine, where 2230 soldiers were stationed. They also attacked a bridge in Odessa and began shelling.

"This was a very brutal and unexpected attack," noted a representative of the Ukrainian army. "We were not prepared for such a scale of actions."

According to witness testimonies, during the attack there were heard explosions and sounds of gunfire. Local residents began to evacuate their homes in search of shelter.
