Rising Tensions: North Korea to Mass Produce Drones

The military conflict between Russia and Ukraine is generating uncertainty regarding the use of kamikaze drones. According to the German newspaper, North Korean leader Kim Jong-un has ordered the mass production of these drones in his country. In a massive attack with Russian drones in Odesa, one person lost their life.

Kim Jong-un supervised a drone test on Thursday, for the second time this year, according to the state news agency KCNA. The North Korean leader has urged to begin "large-scale mass production" of the newly developed military drones as soon as possible. These kamikaze drones are unmanned aerial vehicles equipped with explosives that target enemy objectives.

In addition to being used in Ukraine, where Russia receives support from North Korea, these Iranian drones are also being employed by Russia. The question that arises now is whether North Korea will supply Vladimir Putin with a new army of unmanned aircraft. In the attack in Odesa, besides the fatal victim, eight other people, including a nine-year-old child, were injured.
