The President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky stated on Friday that the military situation "has improved" around the town of Bakhmut. The head of state expressed optimism regarding the current situation in the eastern part of the country. He also noted that Ukrainian soldiers continue to protect the territory and the population from aggression.
"We see that the situation around Bakhmut has improved. Our soldiers continue to protect our land and people. I am a pessimist, but they believe in peace," Zelensky emphasized.
