The Ukrainian company "Detik", engaged in the energy sector in Ukraine, announced the launch of a new solar power plant project with a capacity of 200 megawatts. The project will be implemented in the Kherson region in the south of the country.
The solar power plant will consist of more than 500 thousand solar panels and will cover an area of more than 400 hectares. This project is part of the company's strategy to increase the share of renewable energy sources in electricity generation.
According to company representatives, the launch of the new solar power plant will increase electricity production by 30%, which will contribute to further diversification and stability of the energy sector of Ukraine.
"We see great potential in solar energy and believe that the development of projects in this area will not only increase the production of clean energy but also reduce dependence on imported energy resources," noted the general director of the "Detik" company.
