Amid ongoing military operations to destroy energy, transport, and industrial infrastructure, Russian forces have taken control of two new towns in northern and eastern Ukraine. The Kremlin stated that «key issues» regarding Ukraine will be discussed at the Geneva negotiation table. Meanwhile, the U.S. Secretary of State, whose country is mediating the talks, said Washington is interested in ending the war in Ukraine and is not seeking to impose anything on anyone. Russia's Ministry of Defense announced on Monday the capture of the towns of Pokrovka in Sumy region, northern Ukraine, and Minkovka in Donetsk. The ministry noted the continued advance of its forces on all fronts, reporting that the Ukrainian army lost 1,090 soldiers on six fronts within 24 hours.
