Rafael Grossi, the Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency, confirmed on Friday that the number of attacks on the Ukrainian nuclear plant Zaporizhzhia has increased. Grossi stated that the increase in the number of attacks on this strategically important infrastructure is a worrying signal for the safety of the energy system.

These attacks have alarmed specialists and the agency's leadership. Meanwhile, MAGATE calls on all member states to adhere to international safety standards and maintain existing protocols regarding the protection of nuclear facilities.

"Safety and secure operation of nuclear plants should be the highest priority for all," emphasized the general director of the organization.
